Fall 2012: The Bastjion Sweater Jacket

When designing the line for Fall 2012 Richie and I were determined to find ways to speak the season without losing a bit of style. We searched high and low for fabrics that were thoughtful and rich with texture. The look and feel of the collection is the epitome of comfortable and cozy and the designs are clean and flowing…warm and exciting.  After a long, hot summer of revealing style, Fall fashion brings back elements that we’ve all been missing…smooth pant silhouettes, long boots, flowing tops, soft sweaters, and well cut and stylish outerwear. With the launch of our new website and blog I want to take the opportunity to speak to as many pieces of the collections as possible. It seems there is no better place to begin than with the very simple and feminine cut of the Bastjian jacket. It has so many wonderful elements yet they all blend together effortlessly to create a look that is truly one of a kind. The fine details of the pintucked stitching, the off center zipper, and soft bell sleeves make this piece easy and feminine. The fitted pleather finished bodice complete with a sexy ruffled collar insure that this piece will look great with anything; long pants, a romantic skirt, your hottest jeans.

Finally…Fall!
